  Lovely location, delightful friendly hosts, a large and newly refurbished room, and a bistro on site: the chef is the hosts' son. Simply one of the best guesthouses/B&Bs we have stayed at anywhere in the UK.

  Where to begin in describing how good was our experience at staying at the Old Mill House last week. I was attending a course at Rick Stein's Cookery course and chanced on this B and B quite by chance. What a find. We were were made very welcome on arrival and shown to a very comfortable room where a small decanter of sherry as well as tea and coffee facilities were laid out. The bed was very comfortable. There is a bar where I was served one of the best gin and tonics ever. So good was it that I just had to have another one! TThe staff were very friendly and willing to chat. Breakfast was excellent and the full English was exactly that. Indeed as well as the best g and t they also serve the very best fried bread. The food in the Bistro where we ate on one of our evenings was very well prepared and served. There is a charmingly relaxed yet highly professional standard of service here and all of the staff made our stay a very comfortable one. This is a family run establishment and to be honest we felt more like guests of the family rather than customers. The whole experience was added to by the wonderful garden the family have developed including a huge water wheel.
  It was worth every penny to stay here and there is no doubt at all that we shall return hopefully for a family weekend. Much thanks to all the team -you were great.
